From world leaders to average citizens, people around the world have joined in mourning former President George H.W.
Bush, who died in his Houston home Friday night at age 94.
On Monday, the man who has been heralded for a lifetime of public service and his level-headed handling of the collapse of the Soviet Union will lie in state within the Capitol Rotunda in Washington.
According to the Architect of the Capitol's website, Bush will become the 35th individual, and 12th president, to be formally honored there.
Federal officials released a schedule Saturday outlining the plans for the president’s body to travel to Washington before its return to Houston for burial.
